A.C.M.A. Artist Spotlight

 B.A.S.I.C.

We want to thank the A.C.M.A. for inviting us to perform at their National Event in Monticello, Ky June 7th 2014. We had a grand time and enjoyed meeting the wonderful groups who performed as well. Bro. Gibson was a great host to us and we appreciate the kindness and love of all the people who attended. God bless!!!

We want to welcome the American Christian Music Association to the great state of Alabama.

Its mission is to bring groups and singer's together for the purpose of spreading the Gospel of the Kingdom of God through songs for His glory.

The A.C.M.A. is committed to the excellency of the Kingdom of God in all its aspects of life and ministry. Within today's Christian musical industry, there are many who are only "performing" for their own glory and thus perform for their own popularity, and not for God. Its a shame that this is a reality and should never be. With the tide of our world changing everyday to cons and whims of the devil are a real force to contend with.

The devil will use whatever avenue he can to bring down the glory of God. Jesus reminds us that many will say to him, Lord, Lord, we have prophesy in his name, cast out demons and in his name, and "PERFORMED" many miracles? And then he will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness. (Mt.7:22-23).

The A.C.M.A. was brought about to bring true Christian artistry that is willing to glorify Christ in everything they do. It is a fellowship of Singers/Songwriter's/Musicians and Recording Artists who have felt the call to spread the gospel through their music. Just 15 years ago it was the vision of founder Bro. Troy Cupp and Bro. Ray Bryant to bring a group of people together that shared the same vision in the gospel ministry for the purpose of evangelism. Since then the A.C.M.A. has spread throughout the county and has grown by leaps and bounds. They have chapters as far away as Alaska and across the United States. There are many benefits to becoming an A.C.M.A. member. As a member you, your group or Church Choir will able to vote at our annual elections, and nominations for soloist, duet, trio, and group of the year. There are also categories for song of the year, Gospel Radio station, Gospel TV, and DJ of the year awards. A quarterly bulletin, and your group and ministry will be listed to our website (along with your schedule, music, and a complete bio. Also a chance to sing center stage at the annual A.C.M.A. singing Convention. The American Music Christian Association is open to all genres, regardless of your style, whether its Southern gospel, Contemporary, Rap, choir or old fashion gospel. It’s all about lifting the name Jesus and evangelizing the gospel to the world. Everyone who wants to be a part of an organization that glorifies the kingdom of God, you are welcome to join. For those looking for Recording and expanding your music, we have many professionals in the industry, and Knowledge about the recording business that will help you succeed. God bless you in your endeavor as you glorify Christ. In Christ for his glory! Rev. Melvin Dumpson Sr. – Alabama State Chapter Leader / Southeastern Regional Director Evangelist Chuck Gibson – Kentucky State Chapter Leader / National Chairman

In Christ, Rev M.G Dumpson Sr and B.A.S.I.C.
